Kings Update - NBA owners are scheduled to meet this Wednesday to vote on whether the Maloofs can sell their stake in the Sacramento Kings to a Seattle ownership group led by Chris Hansen. A lot of people thought the deal was done and set for Sacramento after the relocation committee annouced last week that it would not approve a move of the team from Sacramento to Seattle. But the Seattle group isn't giving up and they sweetened the deal a number of ways over the weekend...

Tahoe Crayfish - California Governor Jerry Brown has recently signed into law a bill that legalizes commercial fishing of crayfish, which could mean good things for the Lake Tahoe Basin. Officials estimate the lake holds 240 million to 280 million invasive crayfish, and fishing the crustaceans will provide local food for consumers and create a new industry.
